This SE-SEM micrograph shows us what crystalline anhydrite can look like. This example comes to us from a core sample from the Brown-Snowplow 1-5 well in the Michigan Basin. This micrograph was collected by Avianna Jackson, an undergraduate student enrolled in the Advanced Earth Materials course, and CPCL researcher, Ariel Martin.
