Maryam Saleem is now in her second year of the prestigious and distinguished 2024–26 WMU Doctoral Scholar Fellowship from the Graduate College at Western Michigan University. The fellowship supports her research on carbonate diagenesis and reservoir development in the Jurassic Smackover Formation, where she integrates petrographic, mineralogical, and geochemical data to better understand dolomitization and fluid evolution. It also enables her to present her findings at major geological conferences and prepare a technical report highlighting her recent work, reflecting her continued dedication to advancing carbonate research.
